The other night you saw your first falling star. You were so excited. It was your first time. You made a wish. We both giggled.
You used to love to throw coins into fountains. For the first couple of years you didn't tell me your wish but one day you told me that you needed to get a new wish. Up till then you had made a wish for your mother to come back. I never knew until you decided it was no use any more to make that wish.
Then you started wishing for a puppy when you threw pennies in the fountain. Someday I may find out what you wished for on your first falling star.
It turns out that my post linking to a picture of George Bush reading a book upside down is pure Photoshop nonsense. Next thing they'll tell me the the extinction of blondes story is bogus as well.
This is a test of my ability to post to this blog from an email account so I can post during the day instead of only at night when I am too tired to hold up my head.
Here is a link to verify that html will work as well.
When I was growing up and I wondered what a word meant I'd ask my dad what it meant. He'd look at me with a bemused smile and say 'look it up,' much to my chagrine. When you ask me what is the spelling of a word what am I going to say?
Someday you will no doubt thank me for being such a pain. Of course I could be wrong.
