Comments: Can I Say This?

I guess the question is whether or not we believe they care at all that things are going poorly. Maybe the "brain trust" did know (or suspected) it would turn out like this and didn't care. Isn't that a scary prospect! They are benefiting financially from this war regardless of how many Americans are killed. Grrr.

We aren't going to pull out tomorrow and not next year either, most likely, or even the year after that. This is fine by many, since their profit margins are only going to increase in a long term quagmire. Bob Kennedy Jr. gave a definition of fascism in his Salon interview that summed up our current situation perfectly: "the domination of a government by corporations of the political right, combined with bellicose nationalism." The corporations will continue to make their fortunes for years to come (which seems to have been the real goal of this whole mess) and the Bush crew will continue to use bellicose nationalism to keep us all in line and with the program. Scary!

Of course, the only plan of action is to fight the meanies and their flunkies. I say we start helping them pack for that one way bus ticket to Crawford right now (to take from Dean). There is no hope of anything other than continued chaos with the Bush crew in power. Down with the meanies!
