About the Newsletter

The AIDS Information Newsletter is transmitted from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs AIDS Information Center, located at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. This biweekly electronic publication is one of several services provided by the Center to all VA medical facilites and the target audiences are primarily health care professionals, librarians, and trainers/educators.

The newsletter is posted on most AIDS-related bulletin boards and can be found on the gopher server from NIAID (gopher.niaid.nih.gov) where it is listed as the "VA AIDS Information Newsletter." It can also be read on the UseNet group sci.med.aids (also available via [email protected] - subscribe AIDS yourfirstname yourlastname), listed as "VAMC Newsletter."
